Formula One Career:
Nico Rosberg entered the Formula one after clearing the Engineering aptitude test with the highest score in F1 history. Rosberg made his F1 debut in 2006 for Williams after being the test driver during 2005 and he finished among the points in two races before the car’s poor performance saw him not even close to finish in several races.

Nico Rosberg’s stint with Williams continued where he continued to make progress with not so impressive car. His seventh place finish in 2009 season saw him getting a contract with Mercedes and his phenomenal consistency with the car saw him finish the race consistently. 2013 was just an indicator of how well Nico Rosberg is capable.
2013 Season:
Nico Rosberg finished his 2013 season in sixth place and out qualified his team mate Lewis Hamilton four times in a row. He along with Lewis Hamilton won the runner up trophy for the Constructor Championship for Mercedes team in 2013 season.
Nico Rosberg shot to fame when he took the pole in three consecutive races in 2013 season. He drove a perfect race from pole to finish at Monaco street circuit which got remarkable comments from F1 legends. Nico Rosberg won three races in the season before a not so impressive later half saw him losing places in the driver’s championship.
2014 Season:
He will be driving the Mercedes with number #6 which he considers will be lucky for him as it is the lucky number of his future wife and his father. He will have Lewis Hamilton as his team mate in Mercedes.
